Watch movements are tricky to hold while work is being carried out on them and a holder comes in very handy to watch makers especially professionals. The Bergeon movement holder 4039 is used to hold in place 3 ¾ to 11 Ligne movements. This holder has a double sided holding capacity and is a reliable high quality Swiss made tool. The Bergeon holder 4040 is a similar model as the one mentioned above and it holds 8 ¼ to 19’ movements. Bergeon also has a universal movement holder in model 4513 Prestige Movement holder which can house almost any watch movements. There is a useful hand fitting platform and movement holder in Bergeon 5409 that has a top platform with a spring suspension and a central probe to hold the watch back plate or the wheel post at the back while the watch hands are being fitted. There are multiple voids on the platform to hold protrusions.

The ETA 251.252 Watch movement holder has four push pieces and is meant for clibres ETA 251-252, 262, 265, 272. The ETA 980 Series movement holder has a central support to prevent damage to the watch movement when hands are being fitted or taken off. The ETA Cal. 1570 movement holder with a central screw is meant for the 1570 calibre. The Omega 1140 and ETA 2892-2 movement holder has two pushers and is useful for hand setting and checking the chronograph functioning. There are plastic ring watch movement holders that are economical and which come as a 12 piece set with diameters varying from 7 to 50 mm. The Top Quality movement holder 3 to 13 Ligne is a high quality tool that can hold these movements. It has a two sided holding ability to hold movements that are round and shaped.
