In watch making, adhesives are used to join parts and also to seal them. There are many adhesives available each of which is meant for certain specific purpose(s). The A&F Minad UV Curing mineral glass adhesive is a curing cement product that is manufactured for use with a UV lamp. It comes with a 2ml syringe which allows for precise application when required. This is rapidly setting cement and is great for use on mineral glass.

The Locktite 222 thread Lock is an adhesive used on thread locks to safeguard from vibration loosening. It not only seals against leakage, it also saves from corrosion. It is a low strength product and comes in a 10ml bottle. The adhesive has to be allowed a drying time of 6 hours after which it is fully functional. It is effective in the temperature range of -55 to 150 C. For ease of application, the bottle has a screw top and a long, spout like nose. The Rite-Lok Nutlock is a similar product but with a higher strength.

The Sternkreuz UV watch glass adhesive is a product to be used with a UV curing lamp. It can be used on watch mineral glasses and watch bezels. It comes with a syringe and a spare needle which facilitates easy application. The Vitabond UV watch Glass Adhesive is used in glass bonding and repair work. It is safe to be used with stained and crystal glass and even figures. It comes in a compact 10 ml bottle. The Polywatch glass polish is applied to watch crystals to remove scratches easily. Even deep scratches can be smoothed out by repeated applications.
