The battery circuit of a watch has to be thoroughly tested out to ensure perfect watch performance. Resistance to water has to be verified for water resistant watches.

Water Resistant Testing MachinesThe Battery Installation Kit that comes with Battery and Coil Tester has the basic tools required to fit batteries and circuit coils in watches. There are tools to test their functioning after they are fitted up. The tools making up this kit come in a pouch with flaps having double Velcro seals. To ensure safe storage for the tools, this pouch has a suede leather lining. The comprehensive high quality kit includes two circuit screwdrivers along with a battery and coil tester. This tester tool is useful to test out AA batteries. One screwed watch case back remover tool and a spring bar tool which has a 3 mm fork, a .8 m push pin that is tapered and a 5 cm rule – these also find a place in the installation and tester kit. One fixed blade and compressed case back remover is included in this set. A rubbing off compound is also to be found in the kit which is used for cleaning purposes after the installation of battery circuit and batteries. A set of installation tweezers made from plastic are supplied in this kit to be used in the fitting and removing of coils and batteries. This kit includes all the necessary tools to install watch circuitry successfully. Post installation the watch batteries can be tested for charge and then fitted into the right place in the circuit.

The Bergeon Basic Hand held Waterproof tester is a testing tool which is compact and easy to handle; it is also cost effective. It is possible to check watches for water tightness without actual water penetration. This waterproof testing tool is simple to use and the water resistant testing can be completed in a short time. The Bergeon Water Resistance tester is a device that works on the principle of pressure by using air and water. It can be used to test two watches simultaneously and is found to be reliable. With this apparatus, there is absolutely no risk of water entering the watch during the testing process. Distilled water is recommended for the testing.

With the ELMA Leak Controller 2000 Dry Water Resistance Tester, watch makers have a quick and easy way to test watches for water proofing. This tool keeps the testing process completely dry – it does not involve any water. Hence straps or bracelets need not be taken out before the testing. In the testing chamber, a vacuum is created. Testing is a clean process in this apparatus. All shapes and sizes of watches can be tested using this device. There is a manual safety vacuum release button in this device. The Elma Vac-U-Proof revealing gel starts to bubble when applied to a “breach” area.
