One of the most important components of a watch can be said to be the dial. To hold the dial in place, dial feet are used. A de-magnetiser is used in watch repair when the watch hands do not move properly.
Dial feet are used to clamp down dials firmly. They are two stick like feet that go into holes in the watch bottom plate and are tightened using dial feet screws. The Bergeon copper dial feet package contains 100 pieces of assorted sizes to suit all standard dial types. The pieces are made of copper and are durable. Dial strips are self adhesive strips that are double sided. They come in 2 mm by 12 mm standard sizes and can be used to stick dials. They typically come in packages of 100 pieces or a 1000 pieces. Watch dial Sticking Spots are adhesive spots of 3 mm standard diameter. These spots allow the using of original dial with a new movement; these spots hold the dial firmly but can be removed whenever needed. They come in package sizes of 100 pieces or a 1000 pieces.
De-Magnetisers are used in watch repair. When a watch stops and the second hand is observed to be ticking backwards and forwards, it means the watch is ready de-magnetising. The Bergeon Professional watch de- magnetiser comes in the 110 volts and 220 volts models. It is a professional quality tool and has a maximum operating period of one minute. The tool is activated by a switch. The piece to be de magnetised is placed on the de-magnetiser and slowly slid along the surface of the demagnetiser. This operation may be required to be repeated a few times before the watch is completely de- magnetised. The Etic demagnetiser is a compact tool that is ideal for use on tools and watch movements.
