In watch repair, many kinds of tools are required to handle the different parts of a watch. Broaches are used to enlarge holes in delicate parts while a bezel remover is used in safely extracting watch bezels.
An assorted 12 piece broach set comes with 12 broaches that are well crafted and are made of a durable material. The broaches are designed in such a way that they can hold even miniature parts firmly like watch hands, rollers and cannon pins. The set of broaches can be used to increase hole sizes from .7 mm to 4.5 mm. Bergeon cutting broaches with PVC handles has broaches with knurled handles that make them comfortable to use. The handles are made of PVC material for durability. They can be used for making holes from .69 mm to 3.53 mm.
The Bergeon bezel remover is a fine tool that helps in the pulling out of watch bezels. The bezels are very fragile parts that can get bent or scratched easily. With this tool, they can be extracted safely. They can be used to extract diver type and rotating bezels. It has 3 clamping jaws that are adjustable with a height 3.5 mm. It is made of hardened and tempered steel. It is ideal for use with bezel sizes ranging from 27 mm to 45 mm in diameter. It has automatic jaw locking. The position indexing is done by spring balls. The bezels are clamped by using a dis-engageable knurled button. The tool is supplied with 2 bevelled extraction stakes with diameters of 17 mm and 22 mm and a 2 mm Allen key.
Typically, metal tools are packaged with grease or oil to keep them safe from rusting. Before beginning to work with the tools, it will be a good idea to remove the grease with a de-greaser and rags.
